Rhozet Carbon Coder 3.11.0.11706 + Update

Rhozet Carbon Coder 3.11.0.11706 Update
Windows XP & Vista 32 bit and 64 bit | 132MB

MP4-wrapped H.264 video with Dolby Digital audio (AC-3) now possible. This is an update for Rhozet Carbon Coder 3.02.16, the finest video transcoder/encoder available at U.S. $4,995. This update contains the H.264 Exporter Enhancement. With this update, you can now create MP4-wrapped H.264 video with the high quality Dolby Digital multichannel audio (AC-3) with Stereo and 5.1-channel surround sound, the same audio used in DVD and Blu-ray. This was not possible until now. Before, one had to transcode an MP4-wrapped H.264 video containing AC-3 to AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) and suffer a loss of quality.

In addition to the H.264 Exporter Enhancement, this update also contains:

- XDCam Importer Enhancement: added the ability to import XDCam EX files.

- Avid DNxHD Importer Enhancement: Carbon 3.11 can now import MXF wrapped Avid DNxHD source material which follows the OPATOM standard.

- Panasonic AVCIntra: Carbon 3.11 can now import and export Panasonic’s AVCIntra codec.

- DPX Importer Enhancement: Carbon 3.11 can now import timecode from a DPX sequence as well as associated information, such as color correction data, contained in a separate LUT file.

- Video Timecode Inject Filter: Allows you to manually set the Start Timecode of a target. This can be controlled through the Carbon Coder application as well as the API.

Rhozet was formed by members of the Canopus ProCoder product group. Carbon Coder is a universal transcoder and encoder and the supported format list is impressive: it includes MPEG -1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, Windows Media, DV25, DV50, DVCPro, HDV, VC-1, DPS, DivX, XviD, Flash, Real Video, QuickTime, AVI, ASF, MXF, LXF, GXF, sQ, Omneon Spectrum, and 3GPP. In performing these encodes and transcodes, Carbon Coder offers a mix of video and audio filtering, along with deinterlacing, cropping, color correction, gamma correction, and other effects. Other niceties included inverse telecine, time code burn-in, logo insertion, and metadata conversion.

Carbon Coder's feature set and video quality are outstanding, but its performance is what's really impressive, especially in a multiple-processor workstation. It produces sharp and clear video with bright, vibrant colors, the video free of deinterlacing jaggies and other artifacts.

At $4,995, Carbon Coder isn't for casuals user or small shops. However, if you or your facility has outgrown the functionality of lower-end transcoders, or need features or format support not provided in lower end transcoders, Carbon Coder is definitely for you.

For working on converting DVD/HD/Blu-ray rips to H.264, XviD, or any other format, Carbon Coder will produce the best possible quality.

Installation Instructions

To apply this update, you MUST have Carbon Coder version 3.02.16 already installed (link provided below).

Double click on RhozetCarbonCoder311.exe and install.
(can this possibly be any easier?)

Note:

During installation, click the OK button when you receive the message:
"The Aladdin HASP4 Drivers have been successfully installed. Please make sure to have the dongle in your USB slot when you run this program"

Don't worry about that message because after installation you won't need a dongle to run the app.

After installation run the app and click on help, then about and you will see:
"HaspID:666 Port "USB" Expires 2013-01-01 (yyyy-mm-dd)"

Enjoy!
